This is Jon. When I asked him how he wanted to be described in my blog his only response was, "I don't know...". Pretty typical. So here is what I will tell you. Jon spent 7 years in the Air National Guard and was recently accepted into the active duty army officer program. He is a dare devil by nature and is game for anything that will test his physical capabilities.
We met in college where we both studied Emergency Management. Our first date was on the 4th of July and on our 4 year anniversary this year he asked me to marry him. I, of course, said 'YES'! We are officially engaged but will take some time before we get married. I tell him that I must be lucky because not many people get fireworks on their first date and the day they get engaged... hah!
I so enjoy this man's company. :-) We love to go on adventures - camping, hiking, kayaking, etc. but also find solace in quiet evenings on the couch.
