I decided to start this blog for a number of reasons:
1) to share my stories with friends and family as I take on the adventures of life
2) to find a home for my thoughts about life, faith and the world around me
3) to hold myself accountable for the goals and aspirations I commit to
4) to archive what happens in my life - the good, the tough and the quirky. :-)
You may be wondering why I titled my blog as I did. I have an adventurous soul. I believe that life is defined by the times when you don't know what lies ahead, but instead of running scared, you put your faith in God, close your eyes, say a prayer and jump in anyways. I try to live my life this way. Whether it be trying new recipes, going back to school, loving a soldier, starting a new exercise routine or anything else thrown my way. I know that God gives me the strength I need take on the challenges of life and that He has a greater plan than I can imagine.
So welcome and settle in for the ride - the words may make you smile, they may make you cry, and I hope at times they make you laugh so hard you fall off your chair!
Netta! I absolutely love you blog. Ive really enjoyed reading about life in GA and having to be away from Jon has to be so difficult. You are a very strong individual and I know you will get through this w no problem!! Before you know it you two will be living together happily ever after - until then, best of luck w school and adjusting to the new environment, enjoy every opportunity that comes ur way. Hi Netta Grandma gave me your blog id so I have read all and thoroughly and really got a laugh out of the cockroachs. I detest them. Had them once 61 years ago when we lived in an appt. Lady moved in downstairs and brought them with her. My friend and I fought them till they were gone! So happy for you that John is close by. God will see that you can get together.
